Introducing: Outdoor Yoga with BE at CVC!

All levels yoga to stretch and strengthen no matter what your experience is! We will practice weather permitting and will follow guidelines regarding social distancing. Please bring your own mat, a water bottle, and wear comfortable breathable clothing. Masks are required to be worn when walking around the property or using the bathrooms.

Meet the group at the grass area by the Har-Tru Courts (the green courts). Sessions are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9-10 a.m. every week (weather permitting). Pre-registration is required and class size is limited.

Classes begin Mon., June 8.

Tennis players and fans enjoyed a fantastic day of sunshine and sport during Championship Sunday of the Filipek Tennis Tournament.

Come on back to Copper Valley next weekend for our Open House! The public is invited.

CVC Open House: Sat., June 17 — tennis, a pool party, food, and a blues band from 2-4 p.m. A special new member discount is available.

Hundreds of tennis players and guests have been enjoying our courts and beautiful grounds during these first few days of the Filipek Tennis Tournament.

The tournament raises money for college scholarships and to support our local communities and has donated over $100,000 during its 11 years.

It’s great to see so many CVC members playing in the tournament, as well as visitors from throughout the state and beyond.

Come out and see some great tennis. The tournament continues through Championship Sunday on June 11.

It was a gorgeous day of tennis, laughter, and costumes at this year’s September Slam.

Copper Valley Club was proud to host the Cheshire Junior Women’s Club event, which raises money to be used for scholarships and projects within our community.

Many CVC members, as well as many visitors, enjoyed the beautiful fall weather during the tournament.

And quite a few women did double takes to see identical twins of club pros Jim and Scott walking the grounds, as well as bumblebees, Batman capes, Team USA volleyball players, Irish tutus, tiaras, and Prince tributes.

Championship Sunday at the Filipek Tennis Tournament at Copper Valley Club featured stunning tennis matches, friendly crowds of spectators, and gorgeous weather.

Over the years, the tournament has donated over $130,000 to college scholarships and community organizations. CVC is proud to be a part of this event and host the tournament for the third consecutive year on its clay courts and shady grounds.

This year, CVC members won two of the championship matches, with Abby Murphy winning Junior Girls Singles and Angela Heidgerd winning Women C Singles.

The Copper Valley Swim Team completed a successful season on Wed., July 29, at the championship meet held at the Farms.

Team members who achieved a top 3 individual finish are: Ava Watts, Jacob Rivera, Rebecca Prior, Zack Brown, Michael Stickney, Tyler Heidgerd, Emily Scandrett and Stella Schmalling.

Congratulations to the champions and finalists in the 2015 Filipek Tennis Tournament. Copper Valley Club was proud to host for the second year, and it was thrilling to see great matches and crowds of tennis fans from throughout the region cheering on the players.

Now in its 11th year, the Filipek has given over $100,000 in scholarships to Connecticut student athletes.

See below for a short video of what was perhaps the crowd’s favorite match, as well as results from throughout the tournament.

Men C Singles Finalist

There were many fantastic matches throughout the tournament. The Men C Singles final, though, was perhaps the one that caused the most crowd reaction. It had started at 8 a.m., and by the time the players were nearing the end of a third set tiebreaker at 11 a.m., quite a crowd had gathered to cheer on the players.
